Crystal Lake's best sail in restaurant. Ice cream and the usual snack bar stuff but what a great place to stop off during a sail.

For a location that has everything going for it, scenic location, tons of tourists, neat cafe atmosphere, and friendly staff, it's unfortunate to say that they serve what is possibly the worst food in the county.
My wife and i stopped in for a quick lunch. She ordered a chicken sandwich and I ordered a fish sandwich. Both were super processed, off brand, chopped meat patties that were dumped in a deep fryer for just long enough to make them hot, soggy, and floppy. My fish had plain mayo on it, and after just a couple bites we both decided we couldn't finish. What's worse is these two sandwiches were 5 dollars a piece. Chips and drinks extra.
I've been coming to the frankfort area for 30 years and never have i been so disappointed with a restaurant here. Save yourself time, money, and an upset stomach by going to literally ANY other lunch spot in Frankfort, Elberta, Beulah, Benzonia, or the surrounding areas. Even the McDonald's on 31 serves better. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for serving such crap in an area that has so many top notch restaurants.
